Owl Update

If you remember, I posted a while ago about the owls living in our chimney.  Since that time the owls have been named and have become a part of the family.  It's been really fun to watch them and recently find out that there is a new baby in the nest, as well as 2 more eggs!  The big owl we named Henry and the baby Hooper (or Whooooo-per) as Laila likes to call him. We take multiple trips outside each day to check on them, they are talked about often and our house has become somewhat of a sightseeing location for people in our neighborhood. We frequently see neighbors walking over and standing in our driveway pointing out the owl to their kids, and any time we have company over they are amazed at the sight of these great creatures!

First viewing of baby hooper, just barely peeking out

baby hooper left his nest and decided to sit on one of the eaves of our roof tonight

Did the eggs fall out of the nest? They are just sitting there.

Heather-Enjoyed the Owl Update. We watched them when we were out there. So interesting. It is so much fun to watch wild life. Laila will learn alot also. I like the names you gave them.
