The Baby Girl Graduates.

it's official.

my baby sister is a college grad.


It makes me feel old that my little sister has just graduated from college,
but I just need to say how incredibly proud of her I am.

Courtney, you have grown up so much over the past four years and I am beyond proud of the woman you have become. You are always so much fun to be around and you have a great circle of friends to prove that. You are loyal and loving, a hard worker and becoming more and more responsible every day. You did a great job building your resume over the years with all of your internships and I am sure you have made contacts that will help your future career. You are an excellent planner (I like to think you got that from me!), and I am thrilled that you have found something that you love to do. Your heart for Jesus is also something that I love. You are always striving to be a more Godly woman and that is a great goal to have. I am so thankful you have a heart that listens to His calling for your life and I hope your missions trip this summer is all you hope it will be.

I am so excited for you to enter this next phase of life, as scary as adulthood may be. Lots of hard work, and no more summers off (ahh!) but I have all the confidence in the world that you will succeed at whatever you set your mind to. Keep your eyes focused on Jesus and everything will turn out just fine.

I want you to know how much I love you and how happy I am that you are my little sister. I wouldn't change a thing about how our relationship has evolved over the years because it has brought us to where we are today...close friends that can confide in one another and trust each other with anything.
