30th Week Begins!

I can't believe I am already in my 30th week of pregnancy.
I feel like with 10(ish) weeks to go, the countdown really begins!

Earlier this week I had another checkup and everything went great. The results of my glucose tolerance test came back just fine (my "number" needed to be under 140, and it was 101), Laila's heartbeat is strong at 157 bpm, my blood pressure has remained in a good place, my weight gain is perfectly on track and my belly is measuring at about 29cm which the doctor said is great. I am now at the point where I have to go for checkups every two weeks instead of once a month, so we'll be back again in early June.

At this point, I am definitely feeling like I'm in "nesting" mode and really want to start getting Laila's nursery in order. Right now it is covered with boxes and piles of all of the generous and thoughtful gifts given by friends and family. My sister-in-law and I went to Ikea yesterday and found some great storage solutions to help organize Laila's closet. The system has shelves and bins of different sizes that slide out, and you can arrange them however you want. We were even able to find pink, white and green bins to match her room!

I can't wait to get it all set up and
feel organized and ready for her arrival.

I love the bedding you chose and Ikea is a great place for organizational stuff. I can't believe you are already at 30 weeks! Way to go! I am so glad that everything is going so well for you. Praying that things continue that way. We're waiting any day now for our little guy to arrive!
