If you know me at all, you know I am (or really like to be) organized. I am not so much a clean freak as I am an organization freak...I don't care if the floor isn't vacuumed every day or the toilets are perfectly clean, but my kitchen counters must be clean, dishes done and toys put away before I go to bed. Everything must be perfectly folded and hung up in my closet, etc. Recently my pantry disarray had really been getting on my nerves so I decided to do something about it. I scoured Pinterest for some ideas, took inventory of what organizational tools I had at my disposal, and then went shopping for the rest. I tried the Dollar Tree first to get some inexpensive bins and baskets but had no luck there, so I ended up at trusty old Target for what I needed. I bought a bunch of different things, thinking I would figure out what worked and what I needed and then return the rest. Turned out I used EVERYTHING I bought - except for one small basket. The next day Collin came in the room asking if I happened to have any baskets left over from my shopping spree...and the one I had left was perfect for what he needed it for. It was meant to be :)
Anyway, within 2 days of starting this project it was as complete as it's going to be for now...I like to get things done quickly once I start them! Here are some before and afters...for my own pleasure probably more than yours, but it's my blog and I'm proud of my pantry and it makes me happy...so here it is!
BEFORE

AFTER - DETAILS
bins, bins and more bins, all labeled for easy recognition
found adhesive spice racks on amazon. awesomely awesome.
alphabetized, of course.
My newly organized pantry makes me smile every time I walk in there. Things are so much more easily accessible now and easier to see what I have, so I will save money down the line by buying duplicate items. I heart organizing.
I have already tackled our master closet and the garage...I wonder what my next project should be...
