Hooray! Hooray! It's Graduation Day!
Today we had a great checkup with our fertility doctor, and since all looks good we have officially graduated from there and from now on will be having our check ups with my regular OBGYN. Baby's heartbeat sounded great, and he/she is measuring 10 weeks along (4 days ahead!). You can even see its tiny little arm and leg buds, and during the ultrasound we were able to see both lobes of the brain.
It was amazing.
We are so happy that all is going well so far. I get to finish all of my meds and injections on Monday, so only a few more days of that. My poor bruised stomach and behind will be appreciative, I am sure. So far, I have been feeling more sick with this baby than with Laila. But, it's still been very minimal in the scheme of things. I just start feeling a little nauseated in the afternoons/evenings, and dinner generally doesn't sound good. I am also having a major aversion to coffee, which is really sad. I can't wait until that goes away - I miss my lattes! I've also started trying to nap during Laila's afternoon nap, as I have been getting more tired in the afternoons, just recently. Overall, I'm doing really well and thrilled to be bringing along baby #2!
